Activism

Activism is the effort to promote, impede, or direct social, political, economic, or environmental change through various forms of advocacy, intervention, or direct action. It often involves individuals or groups advocating for issues such as human rights, environmental protection, social justice, and political reform. Activism can take many forms, including protests, lobbying, grassroots organizing, public awareness campaigns, and online advocacy. The goal of activism is to effect change and inspire collective action in order to address perceived injustices or issues within society. Activism can be peaceful or confrontational, and it often seeks to engage public opinion and mobilize communities to address important societal challenges.
