Hungary

Hungary is a landlocked country located in Central Europe. It is bordered by Austria to the west, Slovakia to the north, Ukraine to the northeast, Romania to the southeast, Serbia to the south, Croatia to the southwest, and Slovenia to the west. The country has a rich cultural heritage, known for its contributions to art, music, and literature, as well as for its historic architecture and thermal baths. The capital city is Budapest, which is split by the Danube River into two parts: Buda and Pest. Hungary’s official language is Hungarian, which is part of the unique Finno-Ugric language family. The country has a parliamentary republic government and is a member of the European Union. Hungary is also renowned for its cuisine, cultural festivals, and historic sites, many of which are recognized by UNESCO.
